Lung Event - Charity

I've been meaning to update on this recent (it was last month) charity event that i attended with Joey. Lung event? Bee attended Care for your Lung Event? When Bee loves Sampoerna?...hehehee!!

YES. I went there to support a colleague of mine who opened a stall selling their famous popiah.

We started out our journey on a scorching Sunday morning driving from Melawati to ZA Art Studio at Sg Penchala. Oh dear, the deeper we drove in Kg. Sg Penchala, we thought we were lost. Thankfully, there was this HUGE signage (size of A4 paper!!) helped us to reach the place safely. Parking was a bit madness and as we walked closer to the Studio, we wanted to light our ciggy...but, its a Lung Event!!!! So, smoking was most definitely not welcome..hehee!!

We were welcome with stalls that was selling T-Shirts, massaging services, live band that was playing indie songs and were sang by boys aged below 12! Joey and me were really impressed! In fact, i think Joey was musically challenged at that time..haha! The boy bad was really good.

As the sun continues to heat us, we grew thirsty! We frantically search for our colleague, Ely. She was thrilled to see us there and quickly ushered us to get the coupons so we could start with our purchase. Each purchases will be donated to an identified organization..all NGO's lah!

They even had nasi ayam, nasi briyani, famous Chef Ismail chicken pie, cendol, air kelapa and lots more. Thank God there was this Studio exhibiting all the artwork with fully air-cond. YES...me and Joey went there immediately and trying out best to appreciate the porcelain artwork when our intention was to enjoy the air cond. But...But..But...we did spend RM40 for charity purposes!!!

Ely and kids posing in front of their popiah stall. The little girls were charming indeed and were entertained by their laughters...despite the hot hot hot sun.

We left the scene around 1noon-ish with smiling face, tummy filled up with popiah, Teh O Ais and we just had to smoke under a small tree nearby our car...which was further away from the event. Overall, we do support the Lung Event!!!

It was indeed a great event, with an objective to raise money for identified NGO's and you should show support as well my dear friends!!!
