We did Batek Painting recently with a group of eager beaver creative friends at Jadi Batek Gallery, Jalan Inai on 14th August 2010.
Yes, we did this during the fasting month and our creative minds were tested to the maximum.
Drawing, waxing and coloring. I was obviously not good in coloring part. I was screaming for "UNDO" button repeatedly to an extend the abang batek came over and helped me to color. Thank you abang batek!
It was indeed pretty tiring tasks to do (and we were only doing 1 piece). Can't imagine those experts who did more than 1 piece in a day. I salute you batek painter!
We were given a choice to select our own template or we could even draw our own design. I just had to draw my own design and I ended up screwing it during the coloring part.
In the end, we had fun. We had a great time torturing Marcus. We love you Marcus dearie!!
