I feel like a failure...

A week ago, an intern was assigned to this project of mine. I was merely helping out a colleague's brother who was searching a place for internship. It was all fine and dandy for the past 1 week. Gave him intern scope of task to do, brought him to meetings, video conference meeting, guided him to do report and the usual friendly talk.

Until this recent Monday, he went MIA. What went wrong? What did I do? Did Radzi freaked him out? Did we not give him enough work? Did we not give him work? I myself do not have the answers to those questions. I really wanted some answers...

We texted, we called...no replies.

Until yesterday, he finally replied our text and today officially he tendered his resignation as an intern. The journey for him stops here. He had potential and all he needed to do was to just trust himself and do not be afraid. There's so much I wanted to guide him and teach him..but he has left.

To Hariz, I wish you all the best and I hope you will not be MIA again to any future company that you'll be joining. 2 cents of my wisdom, there's no easy road for success, but its easy if you work hard for it.
