For the past few weeks, I could be seen at Sports Planet Ampang cheering up for 5HPD futsal team. Siapa 5HPD ni? Lemme just say, they are the underdogs of compared to other 3 teams from the company that is competing in the futsal league organized by Petronas. Though number of players fluctuated from week to week but their determination and spirit definitely paid off. Though creme de la creme team and high expectation was on the other teams, 5HPD persevere and proved to others that never underestimate the power of underdogs.
They won straight 3 games tonight and we (the supporters) are all hoping that they will qualify for the quarters on 9th July. Result will only be known tomorrow morning and definitely the players are smiling in their sleep tonight (heads up boss as most of them might be on MC tomorrow). They deserve it!
We had a minor celebration over drinks and its obvious that the winning moment overcome the injury and all the "penat" that they had endured. It was a hallmark moment for all of them and I could never be happier for them. Congrats again to 5HPD on your winning tonight and fingers crossed for the results tomorrow!
Till then, I have to attend to my tummy which has been in pain (again) since yesterday and the worst part is i'm out of meds....bummer!!!
